It is important that ISPAH works in partnership with other (funding and non-funding) individuals and organisations to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in achieving its Vision, Mission and Goals through its professional activities. With this in mind, ISPAH is looking to appoint a new Board Member to lead its partnership portfolio.
Roles:
- Act as point of contact for external organisations wishing to partner with ISPAH
- Maintain regular contact with ISPAH Partners (currently ProPASS and AHKGA)
- Develop a clear and transparent process for obtaining ISPAH partnership status
- Work closely with the governance lead to identify potential conflicts of interest
- Liaise with the ISPAH Executive Committee to establish the types and levels of partnerships that ISPAH should engage in to meet its vision, mission, and goals.
- Proactively approach relevant potential partners on behalf of the ISPAH Board
- Prepare, negotiate, and finalise partnership agreements
- Liaise with the IT Systems Director and the Chair of the Communications Committee regarding the promotion of ISPAH’s partnerships via its communication channels
- Manage existing partnership agreements including timely review and amendments (where required)
Requirements:
- Senior figure in the field of physical activity and health
- Experience collaborating with a broad portfolio of external partners (e.g., across academia, policy, practice)
- Strategic thinker and negotiator
