Supporting ISPAH Congress 2024 Carbon Emissions Initiatives

Make a Difference: Complete the ISPAH Congress 2024 Carbon Emissions Survey

As part of our commitment to sustainability, ISPAH is partnering with Climate Partner to measure the carbon emissions associated with our society and the ISPAH Congress 2024. This initiative will enable us to set clear and actionable carbon reduction targets for the future.

To accurately assess the carbon footprint of the congress, we kindly ask all delegates to complete a brief survey regarding your travel and accommodation. The survey will take no more than 5 minutes.

Your participation is crucial in helping us understand and reduce our environmental impact. Please spread the word and encourage fellow delegates to complete the survey. Collective action amplifies our impact. We appreciate your support in this important endeavor and encourage you to complete the survey during your time at the congress.

Create Eco-Friendly Posters for ISPAH Congress 2024

1. Use Recycled Paper: Opt for paper made from recycled materials. Look for certifications such as FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) to ensure it meets eco-friendly standards.

2. Choose Sustainable Inks: Select vegetable-based or soy-based inks instead of traditional petroleum-based inks. These options are less harmful to the environment.

3. Print with Fewer Colors: Reduce waste and energy consumption by using fewer colors in your design. Simplified color schemes can be both striking and sustainable.

4. Consider Waterless Printing: Explore waterless printing techniques, which use silicone rubber-coated plates and reduce water pollution and energy usage. This process is both cleaner and more efficient.

5. Print Locally: Support local businesses and cut down on transportation-related carbon emissions by choosing a local printer. This small step can significantly lower your environmental impact.
