ISPAH is looking to appoint an Early Career Researcher as the new Secretariat for the ISPAH Board, to take on the role from October 2020. The Secretariat is responsible for undertaking administrative tasks to support the operation of the ISPAH Board. A detailed list of roles and responsibilities is included in the Job Description and selection criteria are provided.
It is expected that the role will require a time commitment of approximately 5 hours per week. The role is voluntary (unpaid) however ISPAH will recognise the contribution through a free delegate place at the ISPAH Congress plus a bursary to support travel expenses.
The position is fixed for a one-year term in the first instance, with the possibility of one 2-year renewal. Commencement in the role will be preceded by a period of ‘shadowing’ of the current Secretariat (August – October 2020) to facilitate the transition of responsibilities. The position will initially involve a 6 month probationary period to ensure the suitability of the successful candidate.
