Overview

Anna has 20 years’ experience working within the physical activity and health field. Anna's particular interest is in the dissemination, translation, implementation and scaling of effective interventions to promote physical activity and improved health and wellbeing, particularly in relation to children and young people. Anna completed her PhD within the Physical Activity and Public Health Research group at Loughborough University focusing on the implementation of a school-based running programme in primary education and is currently working within the Centre for Applied Educational Research at the University of Bradford as a Senior Research Fellow. Anna joined the ISPAH board as Secretariat in 2016, and has been Director of Councils since 2018, she is also a member of the steering committee for the European Network for Health Enhancing Physical Activity (HEPA Europe) and co-chairs the HEPA Europe Working Group for Children and Youth.
