Overview

Dr Charlotte Lund Rasmussen has a background in Public Health and currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow at Curtin University, Perth, Australia. Prior to her current position, Charlotte was a postdoctoral researcher at the National National Research Centre for the Working Environment, Denmark, where she also completed her PhD in 2020. Charlotte’s main research interests include assessing determinants of 24-hour physical behaviors and sleep patterns and investigating the optimal 24-hour time-use for health and wellbeing for different population groups. Moreover, she enjoys working on novel, advanced statistical methods and has obtained expertise in developing statistical models used for compositional data analysis, where she has been responsible for running international and national training workshops.

Research

Investigating the optimal 24-hour time-use on physical behaviours and sleep for health and wellbeing across the lifespan; determinants of 24-hour physical behaviors and sleep patterns.

Interests

Swimming, olympic weighlifting, painting and reading. Biking everywhere, but probably not a hobby... just my default Danish setting for commute?
