The role involves a 6-year commitment: 2 years as President-Elect (2026-2028), 2 years as President (2028-2030), and 2 years as Past President (2030-2032).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u89d2\u8272<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The role of the President-Elect is to:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-list-style-check\">\n<li>Oversee the process of identifying a host organization for the ISPAH Congress in 2030.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead the biennial ISPAH Congress awards process (e.g. calls for nominees, coordinating review process).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve and participate in Executive Committee meetings (attended by the President, Past President and President-Elect).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve and participate in Board meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the President in the successful organization and delivery of the ISPAH Congress as needed (e.g. scientific programming, logistics, partnerships).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The role of the ISPAH President is to:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-list-style-check\">\n<li>Act as the primary public facing representative of the Society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide leadership to the Society and Board activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee strategic directions of ISPAH with periodic review of progress.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chair Board meetings and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) hosted at the Congress, preparing an annual report detailing the previous year\u2019s activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee the Executive Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide direction (as needed) to the work of Board Members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee the nomination and election process of the President-Elect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee, with support of Board Members, the reporting of ISPAH for non-profit status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee, with the Finance Lead, the financial accounts of ISPAH and annual audit reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Authorize financial transactions in the absence of the Finance Lead, or when they exceed a minimum amount of $250.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ultimate oversight for successful organization and delivery of the ISPAH Congress (e.g. MOU signing, development and execution of scientific program).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The role of the Past-President is to:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-list-style-check\">\n<li>Provide support and guidance to the President and the Board on matters of governance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead Fellows selection process at each biennial ISPAH Congress (e.g. calls for nominees, selection process, ordering of awards).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve and participate in Executive Committee meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve and participate in Board meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as Chair of Board meetings in absence of the President.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure a smooth transition to new President by providing institutional memory and serving as a \u2018sounding board\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the President in the successful organization and delivery of the ISPAH Congress as needed (e.g. scientific programming, logistics, partnerships).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u8981\u6c42\uff1a<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-list-style-check\">\n<li>Established and influential scholar in the field of physical activity and health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u6218\u7565\u601d\u8003\u8005\u548c\u8c08\u5224\u8005<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u51fa\u8272\u7684\u9886\u5bfc\u80fd\u529b<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u5177\u6709\u4e0e\u5e7f\u6cdb\u7684\u5916\u90e8\u5408\u4f5c\u4f19\u4f34\uff08\u5982\u5b66\u672f\u754c\u3001\u653f\u7b56\u754c\u3001\u5b9e\u8df5\u754c\uff09\u5408\u4f5c\u7684\u7ecf\u9a8c<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u5408\u683c\u5019\u9009\u4eba\uff1a<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All ISPAH members are eligible to run for President. Preference is given to candidates who have served on the ISPAH Board, supported the activities of ISPAH and\/or been active in regional networks on physical activity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u7533\u8bf7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u8bf7\u70b9\u51fb \"\u7533\u8bf7 \"\u6309\u94ae\uff08\u53f3\u4fa7\uff09\u5e76\u63d0\u4ea4\u4ee5\u4e0b\u4fe1\u606f\uff1a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-list-style-check\">\n<li>Short statement responding to the question: What do you see as key priorities for the Society over the next six years? (max 500 words)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CV (max 2 pages)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u652f\u6301\u4fe1\uff08\u53ef\u9009<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u7a0b\u5e8f\uff1a<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The ISPAH Board will evaluate the received applications and shortlist two individuals. Where there are more than four applicants, the ISPAH Executive will first shortlist to 4 applicants.
