Early Career Network – Region Representative

Beskrivning:  

The ISPAH ECN committee is currently seeking to fill the position of WPRO (Western Pacific) Region Representative. Duties of this roles include providing regular updates from the region, supporting the organisation of webinars and congress activities by identifying and/or recruiting appropriate regional speakers as well as supporting local members and providing advocacy for the region as a whole. The duties will vary depending on the time of year and in relation to the timing of the biennial congress (next in the EURO region in Paris, 2024). 

Roller: 

• Rapportera regionala aktiviteter och möjligheter vid månadsmötena  
• Assist the ECN Chair and Communications Officer with the planning and delivery of webinars and other activities (such as by recruiting regional speakers) 
• Representera ISPAH ECN vid lokala konferenser och evenemang som godkänts av ECN-kommittén 
• Stödja medlemmarnas engagemang genom lokal opinionsbildning och främjande av medlemskap 
• Ge ledarskap och stöd för ECN-aktiviteter som organiseras inom regionen 

• Åta sig andra ad hoc-uppgifter som rör regionen efter behov (t.ex. att identifiera potentiella framtida ersättare) 

Krav som ställs: 

• Intresserad (och erfaren) inom forskningsområdet fysisk aktivitet och hälsa 
• Kunskap om viktig forskning om fysisk aktivitet och/eller policyutveckling inom regionen 
• Organiserad, effektiv, uppmärksam, lätt att kommunicera med och flexibel 

• Helst med ett befintligt nätverk av lokala kontakter inom fysisk aktivitet och hälsa 

Förväntad tidsåtgång:   

• On average the role includes 2 hours/month, with the majority of the work occurring around the time of the monthly ECN committee meetings and during the congress
