Early Career Network – Region Representative

Description:  

The ISPAH ECN committee is currently seeking to fill the position of WPRO (Western Pacific) Region Representative. Duties of this roles include providing regular updates from the region, supporting the organisation of webinars and congress activities by identifying and/or recruiting appropriate regional speakers as well as supporting local members and providing advocacy for the region as a whole. The duties will vary depending on the time of year and in relation to the timing of the biennial congress (next in the EURO region in Paris, 2024). 

ਭੂਮਿਕਾਵਾਂ: 

• ਮਾਸਿਕ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕਰੋ।  
• Assist the ECN Chair and Communications Officer with the planning and delivery of webinars and other activities (such as by recruiting regional speakers) 
• ECN ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਿਤ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ISPAH ECN ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਕਰੋ। 
• ਸਥਾਨਕ ਵਕਾਲਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰੋ। 
• ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ECN ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰੋ। 

• ਲੋੜ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੋਰ ਐਡਹਾਕ ਖੇਤਰ-ਸਬੰਧਤ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰੋ (ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਭਵਿੱਖੀ ਬਦਲਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨਾ) 

ਲੋੜਾਂ: 

• ਸਰੀਰਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਖੋਜ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਲਚਸਪੀ (ਅਤੇ ਤਜਰਬੇਕਾਰ) 
• ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ/ਜਾਂ ਨੀਤੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ 
• ਸੰਗਠਿਤ, ਕੁਸ਼ਲ, ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਸਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਲਚਕਦਾਰ। 

• ਆਦਰਸ਼ਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸੰਪਰਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 

Expected time commitment:   

• On average the role includes 2 hours/month, with the majority of the work occurring around the time of the monthly ECN committee meetings and during the congress
