The ISPAH ECN committee is currently seeking to fill the position of WPRO (Western Pacific) Region Representative. Duties of this roles include providing regular updates from the region, supporting the organisation of webinars and congress activities by identifying and/or recruiting appropriate regional speakers as well as supporting local members and providing advocacy for the region as a whole. The duties will vary depending on the time of year and in relation to the timing of the biennial congress (next in the EURO region in Paris, 2024). 

Ruoli: 

• Riferire le attività e le opportunità regionali durante le riunioni mensili  
• Assist the ECN Chair and Communications Officer with the planning and delivery of webinars and other activities (such as by recruiting regional speakers) 
• Rappresentare l'ECN ISPAH alle conferenze locali e agli eventi approvati dal comitato ECN. 
• Sostenere l'impegno dei membri attraverso il patrocinio locale e la promozione dell'adesione. 
• Fornire leadership e supporto alle attività ECN organizzate nella regione. 

• Svolgere altri compiti ad hoc relativi alla regione, se necessario (come l'identificazione di potenziali sostituzioni future). 

Requisiti: 

• Interessati (e con esperienza) nel campo della ricerca sull'attività fisica e sulla salute 
• Conoscenza dei principali sviluppi della ricerca e/o delle politiche relative all'attività fisica nella regione. 
• Organizzato, efficiente, attento, facile da comunicare e flessibile. 

• Idealmente con una rete esistente di contatti locali nel campo dell'attività fisica e della salute. 

Expected time commitment:   

• On average the role includes 2 hours/month, with the majority of the work occurring around the time of the monthly ECN committee meetings and during the congress
