Research

My research interests are global physical activity epidemiology and surveillance; global public health capacity for chronic disease prevention and physical activity promotion; and, translation research especially in Latin America. I translate research into practice in my daily work. The collaboration and work that is done with every country representative in GoPA! allow me to disseminate and put into practice new and acquired knowledge with the GoPA! community. Furthermore, I am in frequent contact with the GoPA! and the International Society for Physical Activity and Health-ISPAH network at the local and regional levels.
